P&S TILES – TERMS & CONDITIONS
These Terms and Conditions govern all transactions between P&S Tiles and the customer.
By placing an order, making payment, collecting goods, arranging delivery, or using any of our services,
the customer agrees to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Definitions
1.1 “Customer” means any individual or entity purchasing goods or services from P&S Tiles.
1.2 “Goods” means tiles, sanitaryware, adhesives, accessories, and all products supplied by P&S Tiles.
1.3 “Invoice Date” means the date on which the tax invoice is issued.
1.4 “Special Order” means goods ordered specifically at the customer’s request and not held as standard stock.
1.5 “Third-Party Delivery” means delivery performed by an independent courier or driver not employed by P&S Tiles.
2. Prices & Quotations
2.1 All prices displayed, advertised, or quoted are subject to change without notice.
2.2 Written quotations are valid for fourteen (14) days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise.
2.3 Prices exclude delivery charges unless expressly stated in writing.
2.4 A quotation becomes binding only once payment is received within the quotation validity period.
3. Clerical & Pricing Errors
3.1 P&S Tiles reserves the right to correct any clerical, typographical, pricing, calculation,
or system errors appearing on quotations, invoices, delivery notes, price lists, or any other documentation.
3.2 Such errors do not constitute a binding offer, and P&S Tiles shall not be obliged to supply goods
at an incorrect price or on incorrect terms.
4. Special Orders
4.1 A one hundred percent (100%) upfront payment is required for all special orders.
4.2 Special orders will only be processed once payment reflects in P&S Tiles’ bank account.
4.3 Estimated lead times are provided in good faith and are subject to supplier availability and circumstances beyond our control.
4.4 All special orders are strictly non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-cancellable once payment has been made.
4.5 Customers are responsible for confirming quantities, sizes, colours, finishes, and specifications prior to ordering.
5. Payment, EFT & Lay-Bye
5.1 Customers must verify banking details directly with P&S Tiles before making payment.
5.2 Goods will only be released once payment has fully reflected in our bank account.
5.3 Lay-bye purchases require a minimum deposit of fifty percent (50%).
5.4 Lay-bye balances must be settled in full within three (3) months unless approved in writing.
5.5 Lay-bye deposits are non-refundable and lay-bye orders may not be cancelled.
5.6 Lost invoices or lay-bye slips may require a police affidavit and certified identification before goods are released.
6. Delivery & Collection
6.1 All deliveries arranged by P&S Tiles are carried out via independent third-party delivery providers.
6.2 Third-party delivery providers are not employees, agents, or representatives of P&S Tiles.
6.3 Risk in the goods passes to the customer immediately once goods leave P&S Tiles’ premises,
including but not limited to theft, loss, breakage, or damage in transit.
6.4 P&S Tiles accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss, theft, damage, or delay occurring
during third-party delivery.
6.5 Customers must ensure adequate access and manpower for offloading goods.
6.6 Goods must be inspected immediately upon delivery or collection. Claims after completion will not be accepted.
7. Returns & Refunds
7.1 Eligible return requests must be made within seven (7) days of purchase.
7.2 Returned goods must be unused, unopened, and in resalable condition with original packaging intact.
7.3 A one percent (1%) surcharge applies to all card-payment refunds.
7.4 Returns will only be accepted with the original invoice.
7.5 No returns will be accepted on special orders, clearance items, 2nd or 3rd grade / voetstoots goods,
cement, grout, adhesives, or hardened products.
8. Tile Variations, Defects & Installation
8.1 Tiles may vary in shade, tone, pattern, texture, calibre, and surface finish.
Such variations are inherent and do not constitute defects.
8.2 Tiles from different production batches may differ in appearance.
Customers are advised to purchase sufficient quantities from the same batch.
8.3 All tiles must be inspected prior to installation.
8.4 No claims will be accepted once tiles have been cut, laid, fixed, or installed.
8.5 Installation constitutes acceptance of the goods.
8.6 P&S Tiles is not responsible for installation workmanship, surface preparation, or installation methods.
8.7 Approved manufacturing defect claims are limited strictly to replacement of defective tiles only.
9. Ownership of Goods
Ownership of all goods remains vested in P&S Tiles until payment has been made in full.
Amendments
P&S Tiles reserves the right to amend or update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
The version applicable at the time of transaction shall apply.
Acceptance
By purchasing from, collecting goods from, or arranging delivery with P&S Tiles,
the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions in full.
